Would comeback to stay for next years Long Beach marathon. There were not enough facilities in the room. It's really a motel, not a hotel.
Room was not artsy, eclectic, or colorful like they advertise- it was brown, beige, and black with only 2 splashes of color in the whole room.
Housekeeping sucked- didn't vacuum when there were obvious areas of food crumbs, left the garbage can on the toilet, didn't replace ice bag, didn't notify maintenance of problems with room he specifically said they're supposed to do that.
Internet was practically nonexistent and we were only allowed two devices. No HDMI hookups on the tvs. Front desk wasn't very helpful and didn't notify maintenance the first time we came to them with problems.
Curtain was ripped so 6 inches of light poured in the room. People smoked outside our room so the smoke smell got in our room die to the 1 inch gaps around the door.
No hot tub, just the pool, though the pool was nice. Breakfast only starts at 6: Only thing wrong was the walls are a bit thin you could hear door close from other rooms down the building.
But other than that's no other problems. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a library.
Free self parking is available onsite. Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport. We offer our guests a complimentary shuttle service within a 3 mile radius and complimentary high speed internet access throughout the hotel.
At the top of the tower, is a modern mid-century atmosphere that combines stunning views with delicious menu items. In addition, this modern makeover has revitalized over 5, sq.
Location to the airport is very convenient. Nice view from restaurant. Food and service were good. The price was great in comparison with surrounding hotels.
The front desk staff was Excellent on all shifts. Food was available upstairs in the restaurant. The green lights on the outside of the hotel were beautiful.
Close parking was available. My first interaction with Holiday Inn was the front check in staff. There was a confusion with my reservation, which could have really upset me, but the girl who checked me in was wonderful.
She was calm with the mess up and told me she would take care of it. Your front desk staff could have allowed the problem to be my problem but her patience on the phone with the company was so impressive.
They had her on hold, transferred her several times. She was cool under pressure. It was quiet, just what I needed. The room was clean. The room service was good, and food in the dining room was good.
It was a peaceful stay. Close to airport, great location. Bathroom is very small due to the shape. Loose the parking charge and my rating would be 3.
I felt like the room could have been cleaned better. There were clothing tags on the floor when I arrived from the previous stay There was food or something similar on the inside door handle when I arrived.
I waited to see if housekeeping would clean it, and when I returned to my room, the particles were still on the door handle.
I ended up cleaning the handle myself. This made me to wonder how well? This somewhat impacted my feeling of comfort. The dining room closes too early.
If the dining room closes 9: I ate dinner in the dining room. I was full but wanted desert in my room. Immediate after dinner, I went to my room, it was 9: I even mentioned I was just in the dining room and ate dinner but they said no.
That is my only complaint. It's between 2 major crossroads, it's extremely loud with all traffic going by. I wore earplugs at night and I was fine, but it's a bit loud otherwise.

Comfortable rooms, oversized, modern day TVs and available electrical outlets. Great staff and room. I also expect a free breakfast for a room that costs that much.
Dusty lamps - every one them. House keeping cut corners, this one day, and hopefully, this one room only. My room reeked of smoke. I was not able to change rooms.
A very poor experience. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and meeting rooms.
A romantic setting for a weekend with my new husband! Loved the decor and views! Great historical environment and setting.
Quaint, good bar food, and comfortable. We had a lot of problems with our stay aboard the Queen Mary. Thankfully the front desk reps.
The views of Long Beach are lovely at night if you're lucky enough to get a porthole. It's cool to watch other boats float by in the harbor. Room service was lightning fast in the morning for breakfast and the food was good.
Check-in and check-out was fast and easy compared to other hotels I've stayed at. History, touring the chip was fantastic. Fascinating history Exploring the ship View from my stateroom Staff was very friendly.
Nothing worth talk about. I loved the historical value of staying on the ship. I was on my honeymoon and we got a room with 2 twin beds that were about 8 feet apart.
Ditto with the ocean view. Short-tempered, abrasive, and frankly disengaged staff. Shame they set the environment poorly. Wish the hidden fees like the No AC so it was kinda hot n stuffy in our room.
Housekeeping knocked at 8am but for the price it was a good stay. Once we arrived and checked in, we got to our room and discovered two twin beds even though I had booked a queen.
An even bigger issue was the fact that the ship was hosting a wedding and a concert on the ship and it turned our room into a rattle chamber.
The bass was so strong that our lightning fixtures were noisily vibrating, the entire room was shaking and we could clearly hear the music, DJ,and crowd blasting away as if they had set up the speakers in the next room over facing our direction and turned the volume up to We immediately went back to the front desk and voiced our concerns.
The front desk rep. While I transferred our belongings to the new room, my wife decided to speak with a manager about all the issues so far. The manager turned out to be a tremendous help and she made the rest of our stay as nice as it could be.
She ended up finding us a queen bed which I politely turned down because I didn't want to relocate a third time and waived the facility fees for wi-fi and parking [side note: After finding out that we were attempting to celebrate our anniversary, she also sent us champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries and gave us a credit on our bill to use for room service or the restaurant if we pleased.
The rooms are, obviously, as old as the rest of the ship and in complete disrepair. I understand it's kind of a double-edged sword because the ship is a piece of history which they celebrate, but it's also operating as a hotel and therefore should probably be a little more presentable than a cheap motel.
The room also needed a little more TLC when it came to cleanliness. There was residue from something that leaked down the front of the nightstand drawers, there were leftover hairs in the bathroom from a previous occupant, and the carpet was grimy and well-worn.
All that said, the Queen Mary isn't the worst place I've stayed, but it is very very far from the best and from the cost of the rooms, that shouldn't be the case.
Horrible room service, room cleaned poorly and management has ignored contact attempts. It was all fine a few shabby places, but we were thete for history.
It was a little boring at night, a little load in morning deck work woke us up, but the vintage rooms a nd exploring ship was worth it to us.
We really loved our experience!! Great history, we fell in love with the soul of the ship, though loeer decks were a little scary.
Food was sub par Head of bed was on a downhill slope due to curved deck design Cleanliness issues Poor water pressure in shower. The housekeeper had not made up my room by 3pm.
I called guest services to ask if the housekeeper was going to clean my room. She came right away. However, she was rude when I opened the door stating "did you want me to clean your room or not?
She was just nasty so I did not leave her a tip. All Reviews Couples Solo. Very clean, reasonably priced. The ceilings are a special artistic treat!
The room was in good condition. No dresser and no blow dryer in room. Pretty average for 2star hotel. Super friendly staff and extremely clean rooms.
Will definitely stay there again. Loved having the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Also it was very conveniently located: I love that this hotel had wifi!
It really helped on my trip. The room was very clean. The service was great, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating!
There is also a police station a couple of blocks away. Very nice people, close-enough to the Aquarium, etc. Little fridge, microwave, hair dryer.
Definitely adequate for our needs. The kid got a kick out of the black light painting on the ceiling. Needed more bathroom amenities.
Bad needed one more blanket and two more pillows. It's not in an area you wanna stay but it's close to where you wanna go! No coffee pot in the room and tried to order food to be delivered with absolutely no luck.
The male staff made me go to the arm to pay him because he couldn't figure out his debit machine. We were in town for a wedding.
We stayed Thursday - Sunday. Price was awesome too! We can't stress how Friendly and Clean this motel was!!!
Beds were a little hard and just a few noisy neighbors, the walls are kinda thin. Overall, I would have no problem staying at this hotel again but I would definitely want company.
The area is shoddy at best and the clientele was a bit shady --during my stay I saw several people use a room for an hour or two followed by a quick clean up.
Bed was a little hard, not awful. Could've used a couple extra pillows and the soap is very tiny. Could also use small coffee pots with all the supplies in room.
Had to go out and buy coffee in the morning. Downtown Long Beach is just 2. A small rose garden and fountain is featured in the middle of the property.

The Hilton Long Beach hotel! Travel should take you places. The hotel itself was great. Clean and well kept! And staff was very kind. Parking was a nightmare.
The hotel shares a parking structure with the World Trade Center business area and you are unable to enter the garage past midnight and valet was nowhere to be seen when we got back to the hotel around 1: With so many destinations like Disneyland not too far away that are often open past midnight it was a bit odd that you were out of luck come that time of night.
The staff was rude and even lied about the rooms I booked. I had booked a room with double beds only and they gave us a king.
I told them I had comfermation that it was double beds and they said it I could not find them and print it out, it was just too bad for me.
Luckily, I did find it The staff person to. It was a bad experience. I had to speak to the manager and the home office and print out the paper that promised me a double bed room before anything was done.
Never had such a bad e perience. Consequently, service was slow. Are room was right next to the service elevators which kept us up all night long.
Only thing the staff would do was discount the valet parking charges. Won't stay there again! Whether traveling for business or leisure this is your home away from home.
All Reviews Families Couples. Nice room layout, pet friendly, convenient to interstate, good breakfast.
The efficiency of the front desk staff. The complimentary breakfast was extensive and the staff was diligent in keeping all of the offerings replenished.
The suite was large and very comfortable. We would stay again in the future. Location to town and attractions was not as depicted by site location at booking.
Carpeting had sticky spots and smelled of dirty gym clothes. Poor soundproofing compared to other hotels we've stayed at, especially on this trip.
Not even one courtesy bottle of water in the room. Wonderful motel, Room with character. Very clean and quiet. Owners on property making sure everything is perfect.

The complimentary breakfast was great. The breakfast is outstanding. Coffee could be better in the Lobby. The location is near a mall which looks like it is doing ok.
Very nice hotel, nice warm pool and the 12 noon check out time is fantastic. I liked the location of this hotel, because it was near shopping outlets and restaurants.
The room was also spacious and clean. The friendly and professional staff was a plus! Clean, not old-looking, fridge, good shower, comfortable bed.
I love the room Price and breakfast was great! Loved the nice warm pool, we arrived on Christmas Eve and found cookies milk and candy canes in the room, a very nice touch.
Very friendly manager and front desk attendants. Nice clean hotel rooms and common areas, liked the Paul Mitchell toiletries too. Location and complimentary breakfast.
Pool located off lobby and waiting for someone to check me in only one person at desk during normal check in hours.
Placement of TV in pull out couch area was awful for both sitting on couch viewing and in bed viewing. The location is an old area that needs to be reworked and repaved.
The walls are very thin as well as a lot of hall noise, located in an odd setting but convenient to where we needed to be. Our hotel has recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation and is perfectly located for both corporate and leisure visitors alike.

Location in proximity to attractions and hwy. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. The room , a mini suite, was beautiful and the bed was so comfortablr.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was near all local attractions, including both Casinos. I would definitely stay there again.
Reception desk staff greeted me as I was still approaching the desk. Professional hospitality, great facility, in great condition, in a fantastic location.
The size if the room was perfect. The bed was very comfy. It was a short distance to both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. All in all it was a great stay and I would recommend it to a friend.
Very child friendly hotel next aquarium. The hotel was conveniently located, check in was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom and amenities were appropriate.
The decor was very disappointing for a Hilton hotel. The barroom walls were a very outdated nauseating yellowish gold.
The size of the bathroom was very small. The room all together seemed very minimalistic for the price. We did not like that there wasn't a shuttle, car service or limo service to the Casino Resorts.
For the price this feature should be included as well as a free Continental Breakfast. No one volunteered to help with bags at check in or checkout.
Other guest patrons were noisy and no attempt by staff to quell the situation. We are minutes away from Foxwoods Casino.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Close enough to beach without breaking bank Both CT and RI beaches Restraunts in area were good The continental breakfast was incredible.
Breakfast was very good. We are buying a house in the area and spending a lot of time in hotels. As all we needed was a bed for the night and a warm shower we decided to save our money and try the Quality Inn.
That was a good decision as its perfectly OK - clean, convenient location, affordable. Bead was comfortable and bathroom was clean with decent water pressure.
The friendliness of the staff and The cleanliness of the room and bathroom in particular. Good breakfast including the service.
Room was a little stuffy was unable to get below 68 degrees, we like it cooler when we sleep. Elevator was fair from room. Next time I would ask for a first floor room for my dad.
Last night they ran out of towels and we were given one wash cloth and bath mats for hand towels Be careful using debit cards if you already paid online.
I got charged 2 other times. We were on the ground floor and there was quite a bit of noise on Saturday night - the sound insulation is not great.
Sheets are washed in fairly harsh chemicals, so a little rough on the skin. Overall, though, good value for the money and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly. I look forward to future stays. The air conditioner blew right on me in bed which was very annoying.
